That’s how this all got started.
We got into barnwood when we decided it was time to rehab our porch and salvaged some beautiful oak joists from a nearby barn, which turned out to make wonderful fireplace mantels. That's when we founded
Modern Timber Craft, an outlet for hand-hewn beams, reclaimed wood shelves, barnwood fireplace mantels, flooring and more.
With the help of some like-minded people and a passion to restore and re-purpose old lumber, we are doing our part to provide a new life to as much salvaged barn wood as possible. And because we also enjoy sharing barnwood products made by others that are similar in origin, aesthetic, or design, we started I Love Barnwood!
